Hidden Valley was voted the 2008 Event of the Year. The Championship first ventured into the Northern Territory in 1998 when the round was the penultimate event in that year’s Championship. South of Darwin, the circuit’s main feature is its 1.1-kilometre long straight where top-end horsepower is critical and a car that flows well through the sweeping bends in the second part of the lap is key. |
